…really start to take a toll on you after a while. now i’m no i-banker or lawyer or uber-geek working for some pre-IPO Silicon Valley wunder-company, i’m just a pr gal. but damn, having three active contracts and bidding on fourth and worrying about an internal ISO audit at the end of the week is downright maddening. I had a 21-hour workday last week, rushing to finish preparations for a T3 session we had for a client the next day. it took so much time because the client kept making changes to the presentation the day of, which meant we had to redo slides, rearrage slides, repaginate, and make changes up until just a few hours before the training was to take place. needless to say, that was a freakishly difficult day, from which i am still recovering…
i’m just not as young as i used to be!
Ugh… I know how it is. We’re looking at 75 hour workweeks the next 2 weeks over here in the slave camp, possibly longer.
At least you still get paid overtime. =) I wish I did– instead I’m only doing 50~60 hous/week. o_O And you really should take off at a sane hour from work tomorrow to hit the Rock Wall with us.
